Christina Brehm has been a partner with Grove Architects since September 2022. Prior to firm ownership, Christina worked as an architect with Rod Sidley Architects in Wyoming, Ohio for more than 20 years, joining Rod’s office in 2001.
During the past 23 years, she has designed and created drawings for over 300 projects; more than 250 residential projects and 25 commercial projects.
After internships in Chicago, San Francisco, and Cincinnati, she graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP. She became a Registered Architect in Ohio in 2005. She became a LEED accredited professional in 2009. She is a member of NCARB, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is now registered in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Christina specializes in crafting creative design options that provide solutions to achieve the client's goals. She focuses on deciphering how to construct and detail the design, so the project can become a reality.
Julie Phalen has been a partner with

After internships in Cincinnati, Lexington, and Boston, she graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP. She became a Registered Architect in Ohio in 2005. She became a LEED accredited professional in 2008. She is a member the WIA, Women in Architecture.
Julie specializes in listening to client concerns, solving client problems, and delivering successful projects.
